  1. Good to know, thanks! If the people re-elect the same old council. They only have themselves to blame for what lies ahead. You tried to warn them and get the word out, with all the facts to back it up, and it is appreciated beyond words by many!! Thank You So Much for All Your Hard Work!!!!

AFTER ALL ITS COMMON KNOWLEDGE THAT ELECTRONIC VOTING MACHINES CAN AND DO GET TAMPERED WITH. AND ITS COMMON KNOWLEDGE THE COUNCIL BENDS ALL KINDS OF THINGS TO GET WHAT THEY WANT..SO HOW ABOUT IT??

They already did reelect the same council. With the exception of Anderson/Workman, the gap in votes is larger than the amount of outstanding votes in all the races. Meaning, the outcome cannot change when the outstanding ballots are counted. There are 40 uncounted votes. In 4 of the 5 races, the lead of the incumbent is greater than 40.

The only one that has a CHANCE of being effected is Workman/Anderson. Anderson is ahead by 38. So Workman has to get ALL 40 of those votes to win. If she gets only 39 and Anderson gets the other 1, its a tie and is settled by coin toss. If she gets 38 and Anderson gets the other 2, Anderson still wins. (And if any of them are write ins for someone else, the math gets thrown off.)

Possible? yes, mathematically. Likely? I wouldn't bet on those odds.

  4. From the lack of post & update articles (not even the new paper) is looks as though the town leaders with the power of the Chief of Police is shutting down all opposition. The last battle has yet to be fought! Either way the Town of Quartzsite is the loser…

  5. I don't think the votes are of any interest to the doggy lady--she's going by-by very soon

  6. Sorry - but I'm not going anywhere until I'm good and ready to. I plan to be grooming dogs until the end of June, maybe longer depending on the weather this year.

  7. Get over it!!! The townspeople spoke and all that are in office are still there! No cheating, no tampering! The people who ACTUALLY want the good for this town have spoken! If you actually want good for this town you would leave, because you are what is bringing this town down. There is never anything POSITIVE that comes from this website!
